Not to take the place of Freecycle or anything, but, at least here you don't have to wait to be approved, then keep checking your freakin email...they are so slow...anyway, you got something laying around the house, you don't need...someone's junk is somebody elses treasure.... Grin

My experience with the Tuscaloosa Freecycle is limited.  I posted a king-sized bed there once, and got zero response.  I made the same post on a Tuscaloosa group on Livejournal, and someone picked it up that afternoon!  I guess the trick is finding out where the traffic is...

Mine is out of that age now darla, now if you had some I-Carly or Hannah Montanna..she would be all over it.
Thankfully she is more into reading now than cartoons also.

I have another site where u don't have to register or pay to post your old junk.
http://tuscaloosabusiness.com/Tuscaloosa_Classifieds
I posted those latest few on there. One sold, another halfway gone (which I'm T'd about).

The Freecycle is good . I get a ton of email notifications from it. Although, I seem to just delete them all lately (when I'm not looking for something).

Craigslist is a winner too. Lots of people post to it, and just as many look at it. I have an app on my phone that I use to show me 'realtime' categories I like.

TuscaloosaNews.com classifieds get a lot of traffic too. I just don't like clicking through their slow-loading site to get to the stuff I look for.
