Yeah, he is pretty controversial people either love him or hate him. He is a mover and shaker that's for sure, but he doesn't use very good judgement in my opinion. He has/is getting Cooper Green Hospital renovated.....BUT the building is so old, survey's said it would be cheaper to tear it down and rebuild instead of trying to bring it up to date. BUT of course Langford ignored all of that and went with what he wanted........the hopital looks good...........but it will still be outdated.

Now he will see that, or push for a dome. They should fix transportation before they build a dome in my opinion. They need railways in and out of Bham........I doubt that will ever happen....

I hate that I have no representation in Bham even though one half percent of my salary goes to bham!!! I should have a say on the streets and transportation issues. I want a way to get to work without having to fight so much traffic of pay 50 bucks a month to park!!!!!

I was hoping Cooper would win, or Smitherman, but Larry is okay, I guess....at least he will be off the county commission now!!!!

Late at night, if you listen real close, you can hear the moans of Henry Wells echoing in the wind.

Have you guys seen the project that started in Birmingham today because of Mayor Langford?  It's GREAT!  It's called 23 in 23 I believe.  The goal is to clean up 23 horrible unsafe areas in Birmingham in 23 days! Smiley  I think Mayor Langford is doing a great job so far and I hope he keeps up the good work. Clap
