Mellow, it's the hard lessons that will always stick with you.  I know a lot of folks that had lots and who now are scrapping to make ends meet.  Heck, I'm one of them.

We went.....an hour and 1/2 late.
We were meeting some friends who swore that it didn't start until 7pm.  We did go behind the school so we could watch the fire works.  That was worth seeing excitement in 3 little ones eyes, so the night wasn't a total loss.

Finding out my son is going to be stationed in NC for a while....at least that's the latest....it could change, though.  He's going to talk to someone tomorrow about a job which involves guarding embassy's.

I've been trying to find it in a window, also.  I've found another shadow of the car on the road, which cracks me up because the shadow looks so much like a space ship.

Sorry Hip (Hib).....my blood pressure isn't acting right and it's got my brain all scrambled.  I can't seem to think straight the last couple of days.

Has anyone here tried Acai Juice.  My husband has used it for 2 months now.  Someone told him it would help rid the pain in his shoulder, and it did.  I've had leg problems for several years now, and have had a lot of different test ran by different doctors and none of them can determine what is wrong with me.  My husband convinced me to try the Acai juice. I've been using it for 1 1/2 wks now...pain is still with me. 

The reason I bring this up is....I have spent 3 hours of my day hooked up to machines monitoring my heart.  I had been feeling really bad all morning but thought I might get to feeling better after eating some lunch, as I didn't eat supper last night.  I age a good meal, but shortly after lunch, I got to feeling flushed and like I was going to pass out.  I went to the office manager and used her blood pressure machine.  It read: 146/97 with a pulse rate of 120.  I drove myself to Emergicare....all the way there thinking, "why the hell am I driving".  Anyway, when I get there, they hook me up to these machines.  Dr. Bobo asked if I were on any meds or supplements.  I told him about Acai.  He asked, "What the hell is that poopy?" (I love the way he is so blunt!). I preceded to tell him about the berry that its made from and all the other vitamins thats in the juice.  I also told him Barrineau promotes it.  Anyway, after laying there hooked up for 3 hours, he comes in and tells me to stop taking "that damn poopy" and to stop drinking caffeine.  I've got to keep a check on my pulse and if it starts racing again, I have to go to a cardiologist.  Bobo says he thinks my problem came from this juice.  I haven't found anywhere on the net yet that shows anyone with side effects.  Have any of you heard of any sideeffects?  What about you, Darla?  Did it increase your heart rate.  (I mean....nope, not going there....I'm trying to be serious. )

There are some dogs that seem to be running a deer over here close to where I live, DC.  You might want to check over here in the morning.  They're WAY back in the woods right now.  If you go to NR Yacht club where the road t's, take a left.  Go to the 4 way, take a right.  Take the 1st right and it will take you down to Lake Nicol.  It sounds as if they are down close to the lake area.
