This really makes me mad. They show all kinds of stuff at school. Why not this? Huh?

I agree with Darla this is crazy they can show all kinds of stuff in school and they want to complain about this  Angry

What gets me is when people seem to be in trouble they run to the church for help??? But when our kids need help in facing the problems this world has, and a film such as this could change their life forever, they won't to fuss about showing it in school......I just don't understand this world and our system.

The Americans United for Separation of Church and State do this kind of thing to justify their group.   If they dont' find these kinds of things to complain about then they might loose some $ from their supporters.

That movie has been shown in other schools around here as well and I never heard anyone complain.

It can't be shown because we've become a society so concerned with respecting everyone else that... what's the old adage... we can't see the forest for the trees? And what we're left with is pretty damned bland, in my opinion.

There's nothing wrong with this movie, so long as movies proselytizing other beliefs were given equal time. At least, that's what'll make everyone happy and make sure nobody's feelings are hurt.

But c'mon... all said and done, movies at school that aren't educational?
Have you LISTENED to some of the kids coming out of the public schools these days?
I know - I'm probably just getting old.
You can't argue, though - most of those kids could've stood the extra 2 hours of learnin'

Phrosty, it's not the schools faults. I have two teenage boys and learning begins at home. Especially manners.
