There is a non-denominational church in Brookwood accross from bama Pizza you might like to check out. I know a few people that go there. They are good people. Just thought you might like to know.

I am Wesleyan (Methodist in Nature) but grew up strict Church of God. Go figure. Sounds like I could have some really messed up mind but I am solid in my personal beliefs and relationship with God.

I don't know.  I was brought up Primitive Baptist, am a babtized Presbyterian, but haven't gone to church in years. All I know for sure is that there is a God, He answers prayers, and there is an afterlife. But beyond that, I just don't know. |

I'm Southern Baptist....  By the way, I'm not sure if I know what agnostic means?? At least not the proper definition.... I need to modify this statement. I grew up Southern Baptist. I now attend a different type...we only get the snakes out on every 5th sunday... |

Catholic on my father's side, and that's the side that stuck. Pentecostal on my mother's side, and going to church with my grandmother got the meat underneath my arms pinched so much I swear I have no feeling there anymore. C'mon - take a kid used to Catholic services to a Church of God on a revival weekend and YOU try keeping him quiet  |

My dad is Catholic, Mom is Lutheran: I was raised Lutheran-with-Doubts.
Then I married a guy whose family spoke in tongues, had their ministers over to 'cast out' their children's 'demons' and who talked about & looked forward to The Rapture.
I soon divorced that whole bunch and started attending a very nice, open-minded & intellectual- leaning Methodist Church.
But I've always had serious doubts about the whole thing, and now consider myself Agnostic-leaning-toward-Atheist.

I was raised in a Baptist church, a very small one. As a teen my family switched to a Church of God (Pentecostal) When I go now, that's where I go. I also like to attend very good Free Will Baptist Churches too. I once dated a man that attended Methodist church and I went with him most Sunday's for several years. I really enjoyed it. I do however, think that had more to do with the minister than the actual church. That man was a riveting teacher and minister and I never once felt the urge to fall asleep. LOL
