Agnostic basically means one is unsure on the question of God. It can take many forms. One could be unsure whether or not there is a God. Or what is the nature of God. Or even unsure which, if any, religion has it correct.

I fall in the latter two categories.

Thanks! I used to be in the ministry. I was a Free Will Baptist preacher for a while. But, the more I studied, the more questions and doubts I had.

I am loving this forum. Glad I stumbled upon it. I will tell my friends for sure!

My thoughts are close to yours bama1977. I have no doubt in God, I have experienced his miricles and grace, but I have a hard time thinking that there is no other religion God honors. I am not so very convinced of the fire and brimstone, and the bible's definition of heaven. But my personal relationship with God is very important to me and it governs my life (or I try to make sure it does, sometimes my own ways cloud things up)

Actually I like alot of different religions, but the ones most prominent in my life are Wicca/Pagan, and Agnostic.

Cool  How much time do you have, lol??  I was raised in the Church of Christ.  My dad's family has native american roots, so a lot of naturalism and earth-worship was also thrown in there.  I've researched a great deal on Wicca and Paganism and find that many of those beliefs ring very true in my heart.  We're a spiritual family, but we don't adhere to one "religion".

Grew up Lutheran (Catholic-lite) and although we now attend a Presbyterian church because we could find no satisfaction with local Lutheran churches, I'll always feel a Lutheran affinity.

I grew up Yahvist and some of it stuck. LOL I don't claim to be a part of any type of organized religion, but I am a very spiritual person, and I tend to be more attune to the Native American Spirituality. I can get as good of a feeling deep in my soul spending time in nature, enjoying the creation, than I ever did even after the most spirited sermons.

I am Wesleyan (Methodist in Nature) but grew up strict Church of God.  Go figure.  Sounds like I could have some really messed up mind but I am solid in my personal beliefs and relationship with God.

I went to Catholic church with my Mother, Grandmother but was too little to remember that. Then I went with my sister and loved it but didn't go for very long. Went to Baptist church with my Dad but didn't go for very long there either. Church was fueding he stopped going said that wasn't right. Got married. Went to Yahvist church with my husbands family. Moved to Tuscaloosa and have been to Baptist church here but because of health problems had to stay home. So will somebody tell me what I am. I believe in God and Miricals and to treat others the way I want to be treated. I also love nature and the many things God created and have spritial feeling about loving people. I stray some on the way people treat each other. I know you are suppose to pray for people that do things to you but I have a hard time with it. I pray that I will do better. I feel sorry for these people and wish that they would treat me the way I want to treat them.

I don't really give myself a specific religion.  If I did I would probably have to go with non-denominational. I don't agree with everthing in any specific one.  I seem to take a little from each.

I went to both a Methodist and a Baptist church when I was growing up.

Now I tend to be more into Daystar Family Church & West Brookwood Church.
