Lets here some of your eating out horror stories...

Heres one of mine....

I used to love KFC honey barbeque wings.  One day while eating them at KFC on Skyland, I bit into one and pulled a big white feather out of my mouth!    If they didn't clean it enough to get the feather off the wing then how clean could the rest of it be!  Needless to say I have never eaten there again.

Snerty, I'm afraid that would do it for me as well.

Found one half of a worm (don't even want to think about it) in the mall Taco Casa location some 20 years ago.  They just paid me for my meal and that was it.

I was at Northport Diner some years ago, two I think, But I could see into the kitchen each time the door was opened, I was waiting on my food when I saw a young man stirring a big boiler of what I presumed to be Soup, when he stirred it, tasted from the spoon and kept stirring...I got up and left, it's ok for my momma to do that but not in a restaurant.  No no no

Oh geez, lol

I was at the Dairy Queen on Skyland once and I saw one of the workers reach into the ice bin, grab some ice with his hands, and eat it.

Oh heres another one...

I was at Long John Silvers on McFarland, and the girl brought our food out to us.  I asked if I could have some Sweet and Sour sauce, and she told me to get up and get it myself.  LOL  (of course I couldn't since it was behind the counter, or I would have).   It turned into a big stink with yelling across the restaurant, and the manager was doing nothing about it at all.

My SIL found a bandaid on her hamburger from a restaurant in Centreville.    Huh What?

Believe it was McDonalds.

I was in Long John Silvers (one on McFarland that closed down) one time and just as I got up to the register to give my order I saw about 4 or 5 small palmetto bugs/ roaches crawling all around the counter and the register. I just walked out. A couple weeks later they shut down.

Just heard on the news that La  Fiesta at 5 points was closed by the health dept. The sign on the door says closed gue to plumbing problems. Guess they dont want us to know the real reason.

We went to I Hop the other day for breakfast/Lunch it was a little late in the morning. The steak I had had no seasoning on it. It was yukey I think they just put it on the grill and turned it over once. Do they not marinate it in anything at all. I will not order one there again. The other foods we eat there is uasually pretty good. Of course we will try there again. But I will let them know that  the food is bad or they won't do anything about it.

Cancun has roaches everywhere.  They must clean up really well just before the health inspector comes around to not be shut down by now. vomit-smiley-001

I have worked in my fair share of restaurants, and believe me if you knew half the stuff that went on there you wouldn't want to eat there anymore!

Oh this one time when I worked at a mexican restaurant, the septic tank overflowed.... yeah I know it was a mexican restaurant lol .  But that smell was horrible! and it went all through the restaurant.  I finally told the owner that I had a bunch of candles at home and that I would go get them.  I did and it helped a little bit.
I feel for the man that has to pump that poopy.  When he came in to get paid, he smelt just like it!  *Insert vomit Icon here*
